General questions

Business coaching is a collaborative partnership focused on helping you develop your own solutions, build critical skills and achieve goals you define. A consultant typically diagnoses problems and prescribes specific solutions. A coach, on the other hand, asks powerful questions, challenges assumptions and holds you accountable so that you grow as a leader and decision-maker. The result is not just a solved problem — it is a fundamentally stronger business owner who can tackle future challenges independently.

Our coaching is designed for entrepreneurs at every stage — from those just validating a business idea to seasoned executives managing multi-million-dollar operations. We also work with professionals transitioning into entrepreneurship and non-profit leaders seeking to increase their impact. If you have a desire to grow, improve or change direction, coaching can be transformative regardless of your industry or experience level.

Most of our structured programmes run between three and twelve months. The Launchpad programme for early-stage businesses is typically three months, while the Executive Growth programme is designed as a six-to-twelve-month journey. Many clients choose to continue with ongoing monthly advisory sessions after completing their initial programme, which provides sustained momentum and accountability over the long term.

Absolutely. Every programme we offer is available entirely online via secure video conferencing. This allows us to serve clients across Canada and internationally without sacrificing the personal connection that makes coaching effective. In-person sessions can also be arranged for clients in the Gatineau-Ottawa region upon request.

Results depend on your commitment, starting point and the complexity of your goals. That said, our clients commonly experience increased revenue (often 20–50 per cent within the first year), improved team productivity, greater clarity in decision-making and reduced stress. We set measurable milestones at the outset so that progress is tangible, not abstract. Past clients have launched new product lines, entered international markets, restructured underperforming teams and achieved work-life balance they previously thought impossible.

Process and logistics

Your first session is a complimentary discovery call lasting approximately 45 minutes. During this call we explore your current situation, your aspirations and any obstacles you are facing. We also discuss which coaching programme might be the best fit. There is no obligation — this call is designed to ensure mutual alignment before any commitment is made. If we both agree to proceed, we schedule a deeper onboarding session where we map out your personalised coaching plan.

Session frequency varies by programme. Our Launchpad and Momentum programmes include bi-weekly one-hour sessions, while the Executive Growth programme features weekly sessions. Between sessions you will have access to email and messaging support, so you are never without guidance when a critical decision arises. We also schedule quarterly review days where we assess progress, recalibrate goals and plan the next phase of growth.

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule a session. Cancelled sessions with less notice may be forfeited. If you decide that coaching is not for you within the first 14 days of a new programme, we offer a full refund minus any sessions already completed. After that period, remaining sessions are non-refundable but can be used within 12 months of purchase.

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of our coaching practice. Everything discussed during sessions remains strictly between you and your coach. We sign a confidentiality agreement at the start of every engagement. We will never share your business details, financial information or personal disclosures with anyone outside the coaching relationship unless you provide explicit written consent.
